So You Want To Take Up Beading is an article I've just written about beginning beading; not a how-to-bead, but more of a tools-and-materials article. Take a look if you like.

You wrote a good article. This is stuff people kind of need to know to be able to start branching into beading beyond a single technique or two. It's fairly easy (for some definitions of the word) to teach a class about a single style of beading, but that leaves a lot of information out. I did notice a couple of things that I don't know if you've considered. Small plastic ziploc bags from Michaels, HobbyLobby and even Wal-mart can make for great storage solutions, as they're easily labelable, and clear. There is a problem with the matchbox idea because they are easily pushed open, and therefore not always secure - maybe just as a warning note.

I'm applying to teach beading at the local MACC: Higher Education program. If i do start teaching, I would like to use something similar to your post, if I may.
